Apolo XVII La Yedra - PRE Pura Raza Espanola, gelding, 9 years old, black stallion - On behalf of a client: Apolo XVII La Yedra is a stunningly beautiful black Pura Raza Española gelding. He has a sweet, calm temperament and is also very friendly toward people. With a sporty build, impressive dressage movements, and excellent composure, he is the perfect family horse who can accommodate multiple riders of varying skill levels and ages.
Apolo is a wonderful recreational partner who always makes you feel good and is forgiving of mistakes. In dressage, he is solidly trained up to Level A with L-level exercises. His new owner could even be a less experienced rider—we can imagine him being a great match for young people. He has already been ridden by a child (age 11) and is accustomed to riders of varying skill levels. All in all, he is a very well-mannered horse who is always careful not to lose his rider and to adapt to them. Trail rides are also a lot of fun with him, and he is familiar with ground work and pole work.
In daily handling, he is an easygoing horse with excellent manners. He is accustomed to being stabled and spends a few hours a day in the paddock; he has also been turned out with a gelding as a paddock partner. In the future, he should continue to be kept in a gender-segregated outdoor area; if necessary, he would need to be integrated into a herd of geldings.
It’s easy to fall under the spell of this black prince!
Born in Spain, Apolo has been with his current owner in Hamburg since he was six years old and is for sale in 25421 Pinneberg. Of course, he has been regularly dewormed, given a thorough osteopathic checkup, and seen by the farrier (front hooves shod). His teeth have also been trimmed (most recently in 2025).
Naturally, this 5-star PRE gelding has full ANCCE papers. His sire is the top sire “Triunfador MFE.” His pedigree traces back to Escalera lines.
The complete set of equipment (saddle, bridle, blankets) can be purchased along with him.
