Amal Duchan is a sport Arabian with a good foundation and strong hindquarters. He is robust and has a great character and a people-oriented nature, which he also passes on. A working horse from long-lived performance lines, not a doll!

Duchan was licensed in 2017 and passed the HLP in Marbach after a short preparation period, scoring 9.5 for constitution in endurance riding
His sire Desant ran 29 races as a 2-4-year-old, mostly winning or placing, and was the main sire at Tersk State Stud.
His dam Aidah, from the endangered line of Scherifa (Babolna), passed on the jumping predisposition.
His full sister Amana Dunja is our St. Martin's horse in the lantern parade. She keeps her nerve even when we forget to tell the children to hand over their lanterns before petting the horses...
Duchan is CA- and SCID, myotonia- and WFFS-free. He is registered with the ZSAA in Stallion Book 1 Purebred Arabian LZ (performance breeding) and recognized for all Arabian breeds, including Shagya-Arabian (he has an award-winning Shagya daughter), Anglo-Arabian and Deutsches Edelblut (formerly Arabian Partbred), as well as Deutsches Edelblut Spezial (formerly Quarab, Pintabien...) He is also registered with the Bavarian Breeding Association for Small Horses and Specialty Breeds as Cruzado, and registration would be possible for other breeds.
