Product Information: ================= Timothy hay is a high-quality roughage supplement and/or can also be used as a roughage substitute. Due to its low sugar content, Timothy hay is also suitable for horses with sensitive metabolisms.
Timothy grass is a species of meadow grass. It is characterized by low protein and sugar content and is therefore also suitable as a concentrate substitute for horses with sensitive metabolisms. The gentle drying process preserves the naturally occurring nutrients. Timothy grass has a significantly softer texture than alfalfa fiber, but due to its high stalk content, it still requires longer chewing. Timothy grass is therefore suitable as a concentrate substitute for horses with a light appetite and those with sensitive metabolisms, to improve the texture of feed in the feed trough, and also as a hay substitute.
