Dark gray gelding Born on May 1, 2011 Height at the withers: 145 cm Comes with a horse passport Haflinger-Quarter Horse mix
Black Jack is a sweet gelding who is no longer ridden due to his arthritis. However, he loves exercise and needs it every day. His motto is: “A rolling stone gathers no moss!”
For walks, Black Jack absolutely needs another horse by his side, as he doesn’t like to be out on his own. Therefore, another horse should always be nearby or within sight.
Longer walks are no problem for him, as long as he can walk on wide, open paths and in wide arcs. Tight turns and small circles should be avoided at all costs due to his arthritis.
The exact veterinary findings regarding his osteoarthritis can be requested from his treating veterinarian. X-rays are available.
Important: Black Jack is being placed exclusively as a companion horse. He is not suitable as a sport or riding horse.
We are looking for a loving home for him where his health needs will be taken into consideration and where he can continue to enjoy plenty of exercise and companionship.
