It is with a heavy heart that I am selling a wonderful Quarter Pony mare. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time she deserves. I bought her as a weanling directly from the breeder and gently broke her in and trained her at age 3. She moves confidently in the arena and on trail rides (she loves trail rides). She still has a few balance issues at a canter; she hasn’t quite mastered maintaining her pace there yet.
She has already competed in two EWU tournaments in 2025. There, she proved to be calm and attentive.
We also completed an Extreme Trail course very confidently.
She regularly interacts with children and has been ridden by them as well. However, I have been the primary rider.
She is stabled in a quiet open stable with access to a paddock and has never been sick.
A wonderful, trainable, and sensitive pony. I can easily see her in competitive riding (amateur level) or as a leisure partner. She likes to be kept busy and also loves ground work.
Her parents: Mother—German riding pony (descended from Walou); Father—Quarter Horse Okie San Dee Bar (AQHA).
- NOT a beginner’s pony - NOT a weight-bearing pony - Sometimes skittish, but never reckless (remains manageable)
