A very sweet PRE (ANCCE) gray mare is looking for her forever home - After much consideration, we’ve decided to rehome our sweet PRE mare. She was last ridden 2.5 years ago and has been a broodmare with us ever since. However, we’ve realized that she’d actually prefer to be a riding horse, as she otherwise gets bored. She absolutely loves to work and wants to be kept active and challenged. Since she’s very sensitive and reacts to even the slightest body language, a rider with a delicate touch would be just right for her. She’s currently in conditioning training, though unfortunately not as often as we’d like—we simply don’t have the time. For this reason, a trial ride isn’t possible at the moment, but we’d be happy to send riding videos if you’re seriously interested. About three years ago, she had an eye infection, which means she no longer has 100% vision—though this doesn’t bother her at all (We’re happy to cover the cost of surgery insurance.) She’s sweet and well-behaved, goes out on her own, and isn’t particularly skittish. In the herd, she tends to be lower in the pecking order and prefers to avoid the more aggressive mares. She’s accustomed to both stall housing with daily exercise and 24/7 pasture access. However, she shouldn’t have access to hay or lush pastures around the clock, as she’s unfortunately a bit of a glutton.
