A gorgeous Paint Horse colt with two blue eyes - Location: 23923 Schönberg Electric Gunsmoke, affectionately known as Monty, is a sorrel overo Paint Horse colt born on July 27, 2026. With his beautiful markings and two blue eyes, he naturally catches the eye right away. He is a strikingly handsome, typey little guy who has been developing beautifully so far. Monty is strong, well-muscled, and correctly built, with good proportions and sound hooves. His estimated future height is about 152 cm. His movements are already very good as well. Monty is distinguished by his sweet and easygoing temperament. He is friendly, curious, and open; he enjoys interacting with people and loves being petted. Since he is handled daily, he is already familiar with normal handling and is attentive and eager to learn. Halter training is already part of his daily routine, and we’re gradually working on the basics of foal training with him. We’ll also work on trailer travel with him in a calm and playful manner. Monty is growing up in a species-appropriate environment in an open barn as part of a mixed herd and with plenty of family interaction. This means he’s been exposed to a lot from the start and, in addition to normal barn life, is familiar with dogs, cats, chickens, tractors, and much more. Until he is handed over, he will of course be dewormed according to his age and will be familiar with the veterinarian and farrier. His sire is CS Electricstarlight, his dam is Lenas Finaly Gun. His pedigree includes interesting Paint Horse and Quarter Horse lines. On his sire’s side, he has good reining bloodlines; on his dam’s side, solid all-around bloodlines. Monty thus has a solid foundation for his future training. Whether he’ll find his home in the recreational riding scene or perhaps be shown at competitions later on remains to be seen. In any case, he possesses many of the qualities one hopes for in a young, up-and-coming horse. Monty will be sold with APHA papers and an equine passport. It is important that he finds the right owner and a loving home. After the sale, he is therefore welcome to stay a little longer so that he can be weaned from his mother in a calm and as gentle a manner as possible.
