12-year-old mare by Everdale out of Flavio - I am offering my 12-year-old Westphalian mare for sale.
She is looking for her “forever” home.
Louisiana Girl is a nearly perfect mare by Everdale out of Flavio, and she consistently impresses with her high level of willingness to perform. Once she finds her perfect rider, she’ll do everything she can to please them. She is NOT a horse for beginners. She has a lot of drive, which sometimes makes her a bit overzealous, and she gets frustrated quickly, which is why she isn’t easy to ride. Although her pedigree is purely dressage, she also loves jumping. I’ve encouraged her a bit in free jumping, but under a rider she has so far only jumped cavaletti. However, she really enjoys jumping. In 2023, she gave birth to a beautiful filly, who was born without any complications. She’s a super easygoing mom. In general, she’s very easy to handle once she trusts a person. She is NOT a weight-bearing horse. She’s currently being worked lightly. I’m selling Lou strictly as a leisure horse, as competition isn’t for her. She stands 1.68 cm tall.
