10-year-old mare from Knappstrupp - Hello everyone,
For personal reasons, I unfortunately have to part with my 10-year-old Knappstrupper mare. She is currently boarded at an open stable with another mare in the 38690 area.
She stands 1.48 m tall, is eager to learn, reliable, and has a strong character. She can be lunged, worked on the ground, and ridden, and going out on her own in the countryside (whether led or ridden) is no problem. She has eczema, but it’s easily managed with a little care (applying cream every 2–3 days in the summer or using an eczema blanket, and applying cream once a week in the fall). She’s very well-behaved at the farrier’s.
She is not suitable for beginners or as a school horse, and it would be a shame to keep her as a spare horse since she’s eager to work.
This is not a distress sale, and I want to know she’ll be in the best hands.
