Wonderful Haflinger gelding - For sale is a 7-year-old Haflinger gelding with a height of approx. 1.62 m, trained to medium (M) level. He is a very sweet, cuddly horse who builds up a close bond with his owner and enjoys working with him.
Despite his friendly nature, he requires a consistent, experienced hand as he needs clear leadership. It is not possible to tie him up to get him ready - he is groomed and saddled in the box, where he is very well-behaved and relaxed. He needs some time to get used to new surroundings, but is reliable, motivated and cooperative once trust has been established.
Under the rider, he tends to "run away" in front when cantering, but we are working on this consistently and it is already working much better.
He is very fit and versatile: He enjoys dressage work up to medium (M) level, jumping, ground work and learning tricks - a real all-rounder who enjoys varied work.
The gelding currently runs barehoof and has no problems with this. He is regularly vaccinated, the farrier and vet have always been reliable and his teeth have been checked regularly. Overall, he is in a well-kept and healthy condition.
