I am offering a classic western saddle of the Roping Saddle type with a beautiful patina for sale.

Size: 16 inch

Very sturdy horn: strongly built so that you can catch a cow when roping (working with a lasso) and attach the rope to the horn.

Heavy, robust construction: lots of leather, relatively flat seat - designed for stability rather than long, comfortable rides like a trail saddle.

Simple, plain equipment: not much decoration, kept functional, typical for working saddles.

Wide fenders and large stirrups: provide support when working from the horse with the lasso.

Made for ranch work and roping, not so much for showing or long trail rides.
