Beautiful Registered Welsh A Mountain Pony, rising 4 (birthday in April), looking for a kind and knowledgeable home to help him reach his full potential. He is gelded, passported and up to date with vaccinations, teeth and farrier (next farrier visit booked for 4th March).
Sam is a truly lovely little boy with a heart of gold. He was very lightly backed but is being sold as unbacked as he will need professionally backing when the time is right. We have mainly focused on groundwork and building his confidence.
- Stands all day to be brushed and cuddled by children. - Picks up all four feet nicely. - Is good to catch and bring in for feed. - Happily goes for walks on a lead rope. - Loads – can be a little nervous if he hasn’t travelled for a while, but recently loaded well with gentle encouragement. - Loves a roll and frolicking with my herd of geldings. - Lives in or out, currently turned out day and night.
Sam is a shy, sensitive pony who needs a calm, patient and confident person to continue building his confidence. He does not have a malicious bone in his body – he has never kicked or bitten.
This is a very sad sale, and the right home for this special little pony is far more important than the price. I absolutely adore little Sam and he will not go just anywhere.
