Thoroughbred gelding (Soldier of Honor) with potential seeks experienced partner - Joker is a 9-year-old thoroughbred gelding.
When he came to us, he was clearly underweight and in poor general condition. In the last 5 months he has developed very well with us, caught up physically and is now ready to start training again carefully.
Joker currently lives in an open stable in a pure gelding herd with 24/7 hay supply and is well integrated there. He knows the herd life and enjoys lots of exercise.
He is sensitive and attentive when handled. He does not like hectic or restless movements, so he needs a calm, confident person to give him clear direction. If something doesn't suit him, he communicates this clearly - an honest character who wants to be understood.
He has three good basic gaits with impulsion and quality of movement. We have started working on the lunge line and he is showing motivation and is beginning to carry himself better.
Important to know: Joker gets Alpenmesh with us.
It is possible that keeping him in a herd of mares could be suitable for him. However, we are currently unable to say for sure whether he would cope better with this.
Joker is not being sold as a beginner's horse. He is looking for an experienced person with patience who enjoys training a sensitive horse and giving him security.
