Stylish German riding pony—versatile and well-behaved - We are selling our elegant 7-year-old riding pony mare by Grando x Kaiserwalzer, whom we purchased for training at the end of her 4th year and have been training continuously and in a variety of disciplines ever since.
The mare is well-behaved and has no bad habits such as rearing or bucking.
Helga has three solid basic gaits and excellent jumping form. She has plenty of drive when jumping, so we do not consider her suitable for beginners in show jumping or nervous riders. In dressage, she is refined to ride and enjoys moving forward.
She has already placed highly in Class A show jumping. She has won a Class E cross-country event and has placed in Class E dressage & show jumping as well as Class A dressage.
She is reliable on cross-country rides in all gaits, whether alone or in a group. She also enjoys groundwork.
We do not yet consider her a pure beginner’s horse. However, she is rideable by advanced children with some support. She also behaves well during guided pony rides with small children. We’ve tested lunging sessions with a child, and it works well.
At 147 cm, she is and remains within the ideal height range (not yet measured for 2026).
She is currently barefoot, which she handles well.
Loading her onto a trailer and driving her away is no problem. She stands tied up well at her destination and can be groomed on her own.
We’re looking for a good home for her with plenty of space to roam, preferably with a family environment.
