SIRIUS 3.5-year-old Lusitano gelding - This elegant, long-legged and quality Lusitano gelding (a grandson of SPARTACUS) is looking for a new home!
SIRIUS was born in Switzerland in May 2022 and is now 3.5 years old. The gelding was allowed to grow up in an age-appropriate manner on a mixed-age stallion pasture in Switzerland and was stabled a few weeks ago. His owner is currently preparing him gently for breaking in. SIRIUS knows how to go for walks, also alone, ground work and lunging. He is easy to handle on a daily basis, very well behaved and loves grooming.
Due to his young age, SIRIUS' conformation is understandably not yet complete. As his training progresses and his age increases, he will gain weight in particular, although his proportions will continue to even out. A typical 3-year-old horse, but one that is already showing incredible quality. Be it in character, but also in his movements and physique.
SIRIUS embodies the "real" Lusitano. A beautiful build, a stately height of 164 cm, long-legged, elegant in his movements and a uniquely great character that is turned towards people. He also has a beautiful, ground-covering walk, a lively trot and a set, balanced canter.
With his quality of movement, he has the potential to become an impressive partner for dressage, working equitation or other disciplines. But he would also make an excellent upmarket leisure horse.
For personal reasons, the owner has decided to look for a 5* home for her protégé. SIRIUS is located in Graubünden and can be viewed in person.
