Riding - but in a different way - Learning to ride also means learning how to handle and communicate with horses. This is done with ground work, free work, lunging and work in the round pen. We communicate with our horses using the smallest movements of our body parts, which the horses naturally use within the herd. We apply these learned movements when riding independently of the reins.
