Reinsman, correction pad, swayback pad, top condition - Selling my correction pad. It has only been on a horse's back 4 times and unfortunately is no longer of any use to me as I have generally switched to a different saddle. Very good condition. Product description coming soon. Black, square correction pad with fur underside and microfiber top. This western pad was developed for horses with a drop back in order to reduce bridging through the saddle and improve the fit of the saddle. Horses with a drop back (these can be young horses that are overbuilt at the back, horses with a short back and older horses) need a pad to fill the gap between the back and the saddle tree. This allows the rider's weight to be optimally distributed over the horse's back and prevents pressure points. This pad uses a 1.5 inch thick foam padding in the middle, which becomes thinner at the front and back to extend the saddle from front to back. saddle from front to back and to fill any gaps.
