Pretty little Icelandic mare - Sometimes you have to let go for reasons of reason😒 , which is why our little diva Snilld is for sale.
There's just too much going on in the horse and human sector in terms of health that I can no longer look after everyone. Snilld is 1.32 small, but strongly built and has 4 clear gaits, with a lot of tactful tölt. Born in Iceland in 2012 and imported in foal in 2017. Eczema and cough free However, at the beginning of May 25, she had a slight deer flare-up, where she walked sensitively on hard ground (X-rays available), but should not be put out to pasture for the time being and needs hoof protection on hard ground. She was broken in quite well in 2022, which was very easy. She is also pretty cool on the move, unless a chicken hops out of the ditch. Even then she reacts quickly. She has given us 3 wonderful big fillies, all with a lot of tölt. You can see them in the last pictures. She is well-behaved when ridden, but likes to park with us (also during ground work). She is very hard-working in the field. However, as I last rode her 8 months ago due to illness, she is sometimes only moved by my RB. She was the boss in the mare herd, but she never beat around. That could only happen in a mixed herd if she didn't like a gelding, but here she is with her favorite gelding now that the young mares have been sold. She is absolutely fence-proof, sometimes stays alone and is an absolute couch potato. As she is very easy to feed, she should not be given hay 24/7. Knows hand horse riding. I think that if you spend a lot of time with her in the field, she will definitely become a great leisure horse.
I am selling her for a young horse price as a new, great home is more important to me. Videos of her first ride and as a hand horse are available.
