The pretty Flugfjödur is looking for a good place with sensitive people. She is uncomplicated to handle and is familiar with everyday things in horse life such as hoofing and being worked on, driving and mounting trailers, grooming, tying up, going for a walk and is always attentive and willing. She also knows how to handle children and likes to have her mane plaited or simply cuddled.
She was taken on as a broodmare after being lightly broken in and has been in breeding since 2024. She is currently in foal again for 2026 and her training was resumed in the fall. She is currently well trained on the ground and also knows the rider's weight. She is very motivated and always attentive in her dealings with people. It is noticeable that she reacts sensitively and with stress when giving a parade, for example. In general, however, she has very strong nerves and is of course familiar with the typical handling noises of horses. The new owner should build on what she has learned so far with sensitivity. She is suitable in the long term as a leisure horse for experienced riders or as a broodmare.
