Palomino Tinker: Broken In and Driven - Beautiful Palomino Tinker Mare

Since Tinkers are late developers, she is still physically maturing; she is not expected to reach her final conformation until around 8–9 years of age. However, thanks to her sturdy build, she already carries even taller riders well.
Temperament & Daily Life:
In daily interactions, she is calm, attentive, and sensitive all at once. She enjoys ground work and is eager to cooperate. As is typical for Tinkers, she needs a little time to warm up to her human. If given this space, she proves to be very people-oriented.
Training & Riding Experience:
She underwent training and basic instruction from mid-June to early September and made excellent progress. While in our care, she has only once encountered a situation that required an experienced rider. She is expressly not available to beginners. We cannot assess how she behaves under a rider in the field, as we have only led her on the ground in the field so far (she is familiar with walks). According to her previous owners, she was driven in both single and double teams. Since we do not drive ourselves, we cannot provide any information regarding her current level of training in front of a carriage.
Health & Farrier/Trailer:
•Well-behaved at the farrier’s and when loading (she walked calmly onto the trailer both times with us) •Receives regular osteopathic checkups •Teeth last treated in late May •Fully vaccinated against tetanus •Equine passport (without proof of pedigree) available •Housing: Accustomed to both open stabling and stall housing
Our Wish:
We’re looking for an experienced horse person who isn’t seeking a “ready-made” horse, but rather someone who enjoys continuing to work with her calmly, consistently, and thoughtfully.
Given her current level of training, we’d like to avoid having her ridden by various prospective buyers as part of the sale process. Therefore, we do not offer trial rides. If you’re seriously interested, you’re welcome to view videos of her previous work under saddle during an in-person meeting.
