Open-air stable for small horses (geldings) - We currently have a spot available in our well-maintained private stable—home to a mixed herd of mares and geldings, ranging in age from 10 to 34—for a friendly, easy-to-feed gelding.We usually provide branches for the horses to nibble on; we have heated water troughs, plenty of shelters, a sick stall, an emergency trailer, a salt spray system, infrared and light therapy upon request, a large paddock trail with shade, a sandy resting area, and much more.One stable duty shift per week (mucking out and feeding) and occasional fence-posting together. No additional costs. No straw; rationed but sufficient homemade, top-quality hay from the Ampermoor; hourly access to well-maintained, nutrient-poor, species-rich pastures.Friendly and laid-back stable community with no drama. No trainers allowed; otherwise, you’re free to choose your own veterinarian and farrier. Initially, horseshoes or hard rubber pads on the hind hooves must be removed.
