Oldenburg Filly (Jumping Line) - *Oldenburg Filly – Dark Brown, April 23, 2026 – Available for Adoption into a Loving Home Starting in November This beautiful, dark brown Oldenburg filly (born April 23, 2026) is now available for reservation. She is healthy, can already be led and tied up without any problems, and willingly presents all four hooves. We have been with her since the very first minute of her life and have been working with her from the very beginning. She is growing up in a family environment with dogs and children and lives in a herd with seven other horses on about 8 hectares. We’ve been taking her out into the countryside with her mother since she was just a few weeks old. As a result, she’s familiar with traffic, forests, and open spaces, and she’s proven to be a brave, curious, and independent filly. Her height at the withers on August 10 is 127 cm. Among the pictures, you’ll also find photos of her mother and father, as well as many photos from her life so far—starting from her birth.
Mother: A very sturdy, compact, bay English Thoroughbred mare imported from Ireland named Touchdown Pass (IRE). She stands approximately 161 cm tall and, for a Thoroughbred, is exceptionally well-boned and powerfully built.
Sire: An approximately 165 cm tall, apple-gray Oldenburg show jumper with Hickstead-White blood, named Port Of Nightfall. With appropriate further rearing and high-quality feed, we expect the mare to reach a final height of about 165 cm. The sire is heterozygous for the gray gene. Therefore, the mare may retain her current very dark, almost black-brown coat color, but she may also develop a gray coat over the course of her life.
We are very attached to her and are therefore looking exclusively for a truly good and responsible home. She will only be placed with a contractually agreed right of repurchase and ongoing contact. It is important to us to be able to follow her further development and to know that she is in good hands. Given her pedigree, her courage, her composure, and her already pronounced independence, I see a great deal of potential in her for eventing. She can also develop into a very good sport or leisure horse and, given her pedigree, will certainly be of interest for breeding later on. I’d be happy to send numerous additional photos and videos via WhatsApp. By prior appointment, she can of course be viewed together with her mother. In early September, the Oldenburg Association will come to register her and tag her with a transponder (chip). She will receive an Oldenburg horse passport. The passport is expected to be issued in October, so she can move to her new home starting in early November. By then, she will, of course, have received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatments. She lives right on the Austrian-Hungarian border between Harka and Neckenmarkt in a herd under natural, free-range conditions. I board my own horses there with an Austrian friend.
