Mona - reliable, versatile family pony looking for a place in her heart - Mona is a 19-year-old, experienced and incredibly reliable mare - a real dependable pony who instantly inspires confidence with her calm manner.
I took Mona over from a school and deliberately gave her a calmer, horse-friendly life. It is therefore all the more important to me that she does not return to a traditional school. Unfortunately, my life circumstances have changed, otherwise I wouldn't give her away.
She is friendly, people-oriented and absolutely uncomplicated to handle. Once you get to know her, she is a super relaxed companion who is happy to do anything: out on her own, in new surroundings. She can also be ridden without a bridle without any problems and always remains well-behaved and controllable.
Mona is an ideal family pony - suitable for children and adults up to approx. 65 kg. She is also extremely pleasant in everyday life: she is very easy and patient to handle, so that even small children can handle her without any problems.
She is uncomplicated in the herd and integrates well.
In terms of health, she shows a certain stiffness with too little exercise (probably the onset of osteoarthritis). Therefore, open stabling with lots of exercise is essential - while she used to be repeatedly lame in stalls, she is consistently lame-free in our open stable (3-4x exercise/week).
We would like to find Mona a loving place in a family environment or a small stable. An integrative riding operation is also conceivable if she is given individual attention.
Mona is a real heart pony - we are not looking for a quick sale, but for the right place to live.
