Looking for a home for my dark chestnut mare 🧡 - I’m looking for a 5-star home for my beloved Fiu—one where absolutely everything is just right.
Firestarter, affectionately known as Fiu, is a very special mare. Aside from her talent for movement, she is a completely honest and attentive mare who would go through fire for her owner. She is an incredibly strong-willed and intelligent mare who knows what she’s capable of and shows you just how much she wants it. She absolutely loves to jump. On the course, you’re just along for the ride—she always jumps to the other side and figures out distances and canter jumps all on her own. In the dressage arena, she’s very easy and refined to ride; she handles half-passes with ease and executes the changes beautifully!
She also has competition experience; there she’s confident and focused—she knows exactly what to do and has already brought home many ribbons as a result.
I’ll probably never find another horse like her, but unfortunately, some things change unexpectedly—and that’s the case for me, too. I can no longer do her justice, and it breaks my heart to see her standing in the paddock with that look that says, “When are we going to do something together again?” when I simply can’t find the time for it. She has plenty of power and drive, but she’s always manageable and has absolutely no bad habits! You’d never guess she’s 15 years old!
Fiu understands almost every word; it always feels to me like I can talk to her just like anyone else—she always knows what I mean.
She loves going out on trail rides—whether alone or in a group, it doesn’t matter to her at all.
