Irish Cob with a sporting spirit seeks new paths to explore together - With the reins in your hand, the clatter of hooves in your ears, and the joy of riding together—anyone who loves carriage driving should get to know this 13-year-old Irish Cob gelding. Due to downsizing our herd, we’re looking for a loving new home for him, where his versatile experience and athletic side will be appreciated.
Standing approximately 155 cm at the withers, he is a stately representative of his breed. For an Irish Cob, he is remarkably athletic, making him particularly appealing to people who enjoy spending their free time actively with their horse.
In front of the carriage, he impresses with his versatility and experience. He is driven in single, pair, and four-in-hand teams, as well as in tandem and as a single horse, proving himself to be a highly versatile driving partner. He is also a pleasant companion under the saddle, offering numerous opportunities for shared activities.
Thanks to his versatility, his experience in front of the carriage, and his potential, he is also ideally suited for further training with a view toward competitive driving. This makes him appealing not only to ambitious recreational drivers but also to those pursuing athletic goals who are looking for a reliable, versatile partner by their side.
However, his daily life isn’t just about driving and riding—it also includes living with other horses. He currently lives in an open stable as part of a herd, and that’s exactly how we want him to continue living. A home with the company of other horses and plenty of freedom of movement is particularly important to us for him.
