Icelandic gelding Brown dun - Tengill was born in Austria in 5/2018 and came to us directly from the breeder (Stefanihof) at the beginning of 2025. We were immediately taken with his gentle nature - a true gentleman. Nevertheless, he is very curious, sometimes a little insecure due to a lack of experience, but not jumpy or uncontrolled. He has not had any bad experiences with people so far and knows neither pressure nor punishment from our side. This should remain the case after the change of ownership! Getting in and out of the trailer is no problem for him, he also knows the farrier and vet. From the beginning of April to the end of October, he spends all day on the farm's own pastures and in the winter months in the open stables with other geldings. Here he tends to show himself in the upper rank area without above-average dominance behavior, but he is not afraid to make his place clear. His unique coloring and his presence definitely stand out and make him something special. Under saddle he shows a lot of action with a lot of high/wide and simply wants to please or learns very quickly. His size enables a solid seat, offers the rider a lot of security and is simply fun to ride. We see him as a reliable partner both as a luxurious leisure horse and in 5-gaited sport, although there is still plenty of room for improvement in both areas. His strong conformation and size also make him an ideal horse for adults. Tengill is currently regularly vaccinated, wormed and shod and shows no signs of eczema or other diseases. Due to his current level of training, he is currently still reasonably priced, but the price will increase as his training progresses, which we will begin intensively from 2026. We are not placing Tengill in a school (!!!) and do not want to get rid of him at any price. Committed riders with sufficient riding experience would be the perfect partner for him in order to fully exploit his potential with a lot of patience! The price range between € 12,500 and € 16,000 represents the absolute lower or upper limit for us and will ultimately approach the upper limit as training progresses.
