Horseback riding wanted - I am looking for an adult to ride my 9-year-old Icelandic gelding Forkur 1-2 times a week. Forkur is an all-rounder and can be used for all sorts of things. He enjoys riding out, riding in the arena, lunging and going for walks. He is very respectful when dealing with people and may need some time to warm up to a new person, but always wants to do everything right and makes an effort in every situation. Forkur is courageous, but needs an experienced rider who is steady in the saddle. We are flexible in terms of time and would be happy for someone to come 1-2 times a week and take over stable duties twice a month. Forkur is in Axams, the stable is easily accessible by public transport and has a small riding arena where lessons can also be taken. For another horse in the stable we are looking for a riding partner, there would be the possibility to come in pairs and go for rides together.
