Hafi mix mare for sale - It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my Haflinger-Riding Pony-Connemara mix mare, born in 2017, as I am currently unable to give her the time she needs.
She's approx. 1.55 m tall, very friendly and easy to handle. Before her training break about two years ago, she competed solidly at elementary (L) level in dressage with prospects for medium (M) level. She also knows how to jump and enjoys it a lot, but would need to be built up again.
She enjoys going cross-country - both at a quiet pace and at a faster pace - and is generally courageous and motivated. She needs consistent, clear leadership when riding alone, but then she is reliable and can be ridden without a saddle or bridle without any problems. In the arena, she is rather calm and cooperative.
She loves being ridden by children and beginners, but is not a pure beginner's horse as she has the typical Haflinger character and needs clear leadership.
She has been diagnosed with PSSM, but with the right feed and regular exercise she is normal. She needs a blanket in winter.
She is currently untrained due to my lack of time and should be rebuilt. Hanger training also needs to be refreshed.
All her accessories can be taken over. I would like to find her a loving, consistent home where she can be worked regularly again. Further information, videos and test rides are available on request. The mare can be retrained here on request.
