Gray gelding with lots of potential for sale - For health reasons, I am selling my Hanoverian fly gray "Cortino" (affectionately called "Kurti" by us). Unfortunately, during my rehab it turned out that I will probably not be able to continue riding at a high level and the horse is much too good for that.
He already jumps over 1.40m at home and has been shown up to 1.15m at competitions. Unfortunately, he hasn't been to any shows this year because I couldn't ride him due to injury. Kurti is a rather sensitive horse (in the mouth), but he is definitely suitable for high (jumping) sport! He always wants to go to the other side and has great potential and ability! Due to his age, he needs an experienced rider to show him the way with feeling and consistency - therefore he is not suitable for beginners! He is very willing to learn and also learns quickly. He does not buck or mount! However, he can also be a little sly at times - but never malicious! I could imagine him very well with good amateurs or professionals who would like to challenge and encourage him and ride him in high level (show jumping) sport.
He currently stands in a paddock - but is very social with other horses. He also likes to cuddle and, once he has gained confidence, he will join in with any nonsense 😉 and has no problem accepting new things. In terms of character, he is simply a cheeky and sweet little gelding and totally lovely and easy to handle (even with children). He is currently for sale below his value as he is not 100% in training and has not been shown at any competitions this season as I am still very handicapped.
A large and very good AKU with x-rays (also cervical spine + neck) from February 2025 is available! Teeth were only done again in September - teeth are without findings! He is also regularly presented to the chiropractor (always did very well). He was also tested for PSSM - all negative 👍🏻

It would be great if Kurti could find a loving home where he could continue to be encouraged and challenged at the age of 7.
