Gelding for sale as an upmarket leisure horse - My Holsteiner gelding named Chandos 4 is for sale. He was born in 2011 and is by Cormint.
He is trained to jump and has a lot of fun with cavaletti work and smaller jumps. Jumping has not been encouraged in recent years, but he still enjoys it. He is also trained up to medium dressage level. He is also very enthusiastic about ground work.
Anyone looking for an upmarket leisure horse with very beautiful, expressive gaits for riding dressage lessons will be happy with him.
He is very well-behaved in daily handling, but needs a rider who nevertheless gives him a lot of security and communicates clearly. He is therefore not sold as a beginner's horse. He lacks the necessary confidence when ridden alone, so it is best to ride him outdoors in a group.
He is experienced and uncomplicated when loading and trailer driving.
He has been regularly presented to the farrier, dentist and equine physio and is also sociable here. He has just had his teeth done. Of course he is chipped, regularly wormed and vaccinated.
He has had no serious injuries or illnesses during the entire time he has been with me.
He is currently outside during the day and only comes into the box overnight. At the moment he is in a mixed gelding/mare herd and feels very comfortable there.
