Furioso (Hungarian Halfblood) mare (Hungary) - For sale: Furioso (Hungarian Halfblood) mare with pedigree for breeding and leisure riding (Hungary)
Due to my health problems, it is with great pain and sadness that I am offering my lovely, beautiful mare Tündér for a good and permanent home.
Tündér has just turned 21 years old and is a healthy horse with lots of energy.
She was born and raised in Hungary, where she has lived with me for 10 years. She has plenty of space, an open stable and constant access to pasture (24 hours).
She needs an experienced rider as she is very intelligent and immediately senses whether someone can ride or not, and she takes advantage of this. She also needs a loving person with a gentle but consistent approach! And the new owner must not be too heavy, which is also very important to me!
She doesn't like rides in the pasture or riding arena, she is a real leisure horse.
She has a beautiful, strong, straight back and stands firmly on her feet. She also has a beautiful gait.
Tündér is about 167 cm tall and has a very sweet character.
She does not bite or kick, does not run away, does not buck, but has a temperament.
I bought her 10 years ago and it took a long time before I finally dared to sell her.
Before I bought her, she already had four Hungarian owners and I have no explanation for this.
I know that her owners were not always very nice to her.
I am Dutch myself and have lived in Hungary for 11 years.
She had a beautiful, lovely foal 6 years ago. The foal's sire was a recognized deep black Furioso North Star stallion. It was her first foal and she was a fantastic mother and very protective.
However, when he was nine months old, he died after eating a poisonous leaf from a tree. I was devastated and never had her mated again.
She was always well cared for, taken to the farrier on time, blood tested every three years, vaccinated annually and wormed regularly. Last year, she underwent a very extensive blood test, which revealed no abnormalities.
She is fed twice a day: Corn mixed with oats and two scoops of vitamin/mineral pellets. She also gets apples and carrots mixed together, which she really likes, and we also give her some water.
She is being sold including all accessories: Saddle, bridle, blankets, feed etc.
Only private individuals may reply and make an offer and state where she will end up.
I suspect she will live to be quite old, but if she is old or becomes ill, she must NOT be slaughtered, but must be euthanized in her usual environment.
We live in the Tolna region of Hungary.
