Four ponies - Selling our 3 year old homebred Quater Pony stallion in the color Sooty Buckskin He is a great pony who has fun learning and is always friendly to people. He lives in an all-boys herd in a loose stable with geldings and stallions of different ages. He also knows the box and is no problem at all. He is still a stallion but is happy to be laid. Midnight Cash was slowly started to work, 2x saddle on, tarpaulin pole pulled over or behind him and walking over poles. He is lunged in walk and trot, has great gaits and is very well balanced. We call him Baby most of the time, Baby is compatible and about the middle (downwards) in rank, he is sweet, even when new ones come into the group....but extremely playful....and that's where we come to the reason for giving him up, unfortunately he doesn't know when it's good. Because everyone in the group is too social. That's why he now spends more time in the box, so that the others can get some peace and quiet. He has no problem being left alone. Maybe he needs a group that tells him it's time to play. He doesn't hurt anyone when he plays, but my old senior has a hard time eating and the yearling, the 2 year old and the father are also very busy with him.
He is not at all jealous of food and shares his muesli with all the horses and chickens.
He knows farm machinery on the farm, as well as small children, dogs, cats and chickens.
He is super well-behaved at the farrier and is barehoofed. He can be handled everywhere. He is not headless in new situations and is easy to lead.
He not only convinces with his great character, no...also his special color (sooty buckskin) makes him an absolute eye-catcher. The sooty gene means he doesn't always look the same (color changer) and his pseudo all-over coat also looks really good on him.
Baby has a beautiful head (mixed from his dad "Quaterhorse" and the genes of his mom " welsh A x unknown"), has great eyes and his ears are to bite into, he also has a great back and stands great.
I can also imagine him later in sport, no matter in which area. He slides sitting when he stops outside and has done so since he was born. He has beautiful gaits and charisma, also for dressage or possibly in the baroque arena. He would also make a great children's/youth horse later on with sufficient training/education and possibly castration.
He is electro-fence-safe, often stands next to mares (also rossig) outside and impresses them. But he stays on his side and when I fetch him, he lets me lead him.
