Foster participation young horse - Hello, we are looking for a reliable grooming partner for our 5 year old mare for 1x to 2x a week at the most. You should be at least 14 years old and have experience with horses.
About our mare: - She is a German sport horse mare, approx. 165m (so far) - As already mentioned, she is only 5 and therefore sometimes still a little jumpy and unsure - Otherwise, she is very sweet, well-behaved and always up for fun - As soon as you have her confidence, you can do anything with her, walks, ground/hand work etc. - As she is still growing and teething, she always gets breaks (when she needs them)
What you should bring with you: - You should be trustworthy and reliable -Not be afraid of horses, for example if she finds something suspicious -be at least 14 years old - Have experience in ground work and lunging
Your tasks: - Feeding, caring for the horse and equipment - Lunging, walks - Hand/ground work, fright training - Pole/head/concentration work (everything you can do from the ground) - Tricks (by arrangement)
We are currently based in Liepe (near Dahme/Mark), where we have an indoor arena (where you can do very good ground work), a lunging area and very nice terrain for walks.
