Foster horse wanted (pony looking for rider) - I am looking for a loving foster horse for my little whirlwind Merlin with the prospect of a future riding partnership.
Merlin is 5 years old, about 1 meter tall and therefore really more for the minis among us. He was neutered a few days ago, so I don't want to put a child on him at the moment, as he is still a bit hormonally "stubborn". However, he is super well-behaved, cuddly and totally sweet, especially towards children.
As Merlin has not yet been broken in, he will start out as a foster horse. Grooming, cuddling, going for walks, ground work, slowly getting him used to everything and growing together. If the child has the confidence to do this, I would be very happy if he or she could support me in breaking him in later. Unfortunately, I'm too big for the little man myself.
I would prefer a parent-child team, so that one of the parents is there to accompany everything. It is important to me that Merlin continues to be trained in a calm, responsible environment.
Important to me: - A rather small, light child - Reliability - Preferably with a supportive parent
I'm not interested in "riding fast", but in Merlin being trained in a calm and fun way so that a nice bond can develop
