Eventing horse gelding 7 by Arko Junior & Pilot - After much deliberation I have with a heavy heart decided to
I am looking for a loving new home for my wonderful Mecklenburg gelding Aris (born on 21.03. 2018) 1.73 cm tall and weighing 680 kg, a loving new home. I bred him myself - his
His jumping pedigree leaves nothing to be desired
Sire: Arko Junior Dam mare: Pinocchio - Pilot
Reason for surrender: Aris has a lot of drive when riding, which unfortunately does not suit my herniated disc :-(
And as he is unfortunately not challenged and exercised enough with me, I am giving him into supportive hands for further training
It is not a distress sale and he will not be made available!
8800€ is a fixed price, he won't get any cheaper!
He needs a person who will enjoy riding him and who can continue to support and train him!
Whether in everyday handling, at the farrier, at the vet, at deworming, he is an absolute treasure and can be touched everywhere
He loves to be in the foreground, to get lots of attention and love - he's just a little clown
When riding, however, he needs an experienced rider who can assert himself, support him well and tell him what to do.
Training & commitment:
Aris grew up in robust husbandry with us, he stood outside in wind and weather in a mixed herd of 3 hectares in winter and on 11 hectares of young pasture in summer
He was neutered on 3.09.20
Gently broken in at the age of 4
Ground work Double lunge Riding from the ground Dual gaits fright training
Aris is mainly ridden in the arena, and in the field in a group!
He is never vicious or dangerous, but he is NOT a beginner's horse and needs an experienced rider to ride him
Apart from the "normal" pasture or stable blessures, he has never been ill or injured with me.
Health & care:
Blacksmith every 8 weeks, runs barehoof on large, healthy hooves
Influenza & tetanus vaccinated
Has just been to the dentist May 2025
Osteopath visit was also just made (August)
I'm only selling him as a leisure horse, as he's only wa with me and has no competition experience.
However, with the right rider and the right support, he could certainly compete at small shows.
I would like him to have a nice home with lots of exercise and grazing, where he is not just treated as a piece of sports equipment or a competitive athlete.
Getting to know him and a trial ride, which is at your own risk, is possible by arrangement....
