We have already owned a Shetty 15 for 4 years and a New Forest gelding 18 for 14 years My daughter enjoys riding in the arena and in the country. She also enjoys ground work and going for walks. She has also competed in smaller competitions with both ponies. Riding competitions and show jumping competitions for beginners. As mine is no longer in such good health, but my daughter would like to continue, we are looking for another pony/small horse.
Mare or gelding Age between 7-14 Size 145-155cm Color doesn't matter for now, but no gray Minor illnesses can be discussed, possibly also laminitis or EMS, but then only a mare will do, However, no degenerative bone diseases It should get along well with conspecifics, as we have an open stable.
We are not looking for a high-flyer or lamplighter, but it should still be able to be ridden in both disciplines, as well as in the field. My daughter is saddle fit, not anxious, smart and can withstand a little bucking. However, it should not have any bad habits such as climbing, bucking, going through, biting or kicking. My daughter should also be able to handle the pony well.
We are aware that horses have unfortunately become very expensive to buy. We are now prepared to pay a certain amount depending on the horse's age and level of training, but maybe there is someone out there for whom the arena is more important than earning a lot of money from their four-legged friend.
