Magic was laid at the age of two and then imported to Switzerland by myself. He is curious and very people-oriented, eager to learn, sociable and friendly.
🐴 Training and work - Was ridden from Sept. to Dec. 2024 - In line with his age, masters all three basic gaits under the rider, transitions, backing and halting - Knows lunging and ground work - has been getting to know the terrain under rider in groups since the end of spring. He is very sensitive and also fearful. He has not yet been out on his own.
I have had Magic since I brought him to Switzerland when he was two years old. He was allowed to grow up in a herd and I taught him the foal ABCs, followed by ground work and cross-country walks. Further training was carried out calmly and gently by a professional rider, in line with his growth.
I started riding him when he was over 4.5 years old. He is ridden western leisurely, but this can still be changed.
I currently rent the western saddle, which can possibly be taken over. Various accessories such as bridle, western bridle, neoprene pad, grooming kit, pharmacy etc. are included.
🐴 Stable and healthy - Currently stands in a paddock box with daily grazing. Is social, sociable and uncomplicated - Annual vaccinations and annual visits to the dentist are meticulously observed. He is kind and uncomplicated in his dealings with the vet
🐴 Reason for sale
I bought Magic almost 4 years ago when he was very overweight and hoped to be able to ride him soon after losing weight. Now there is a horse in the stable that wants to work, but I am still far too heavy. Unfortunately, the weight loss is not going as well as I had hoped and is also having other health consequences, which means he is not being challenged enough. I also think that my riding skills won't be enough for further support. I would like him to have a calm caregiver who can exercise him every day and a large pasture with other horses to play with. Not a horse for children or beginners AKU possible without problems
I would like to get a picture of him from time to time and visit him at his new place two or three times a year, depending on his location. (Registered of course) 😊 I would also like the right of first refusal if he is sold on, so that he does not become a challenge cup.
