Seven years old, a bit of Hungarian fire in my heart and supposedly I look like a Haflinger. But shh... I'm actually a warmblood. I think I have my very own style.
When I came here, I was a bit cautious at first. The world was big, new and somehow a bit scary. I preferred to observe everything from a distance first. But you know what? It didn't take me long to realize that I had people here that I could trust.
Today, I sometimes follow my humans wherever they go, simply because I like to be there. You never know what exciting things will happen. And I find almost everything exciting. I learn quickly, like to try out new things and look at the world with wide eyes. And yes... my human sometimes says that I'm a bit of a nerd too. Maybe he's right. I like to test my limits, see what I can get away with and always have a little twinkle in my eye.
I used to find the farrier a bit strange. That knocking, that rasping... But now? To be honest, I think we've become pretty good friends. I keep quiet and he always says nice things about me.
And there's one thing we don't have to discuss at all: Food. Of course, I never say no to that. Really never.
Incidentally, I've also found my place in the herd. With the mares, I like to be the little macho man. Not that I necessarily have to be the boss - to be honest, that's too exhausting for me. But right at the bottom of the hierarchy? I'm a bit too proud for that. I prefer to just stand there, my mane flowing, watching everything very closely and thinking to myself: Life is actually pretty nice. And if you come looking for me - don't worry. I'm probably right behind you. 🐎
