I’m selling my Barefoot® Merlyn, an innovative, ultra-lightweight dressage and eventing saddle made of supple soft leather. Thanks to its extra-short, flat saddle flaps, it’s ideal for small horses and smaller riders, but is also suitable for larger horses.

The narrow, anatomically shaped seat with a non-slip surface allows for close contact with the horse. The extra-soft knee rolls provide the rider’s legs with stable, supportive hold. Thanks to the removable seat and freely positionable safety stirrup mounts, the saddle can be individually adjusted to fit both horse and rider.

The proven VPS® system and the flexible V-girth support even pressure distribution and the horse’s freedom of movement. The saddle can be positioned slightly further forward so that the shoulder can move freely and the rider sits close to the horse’s natural center of gravity.
