A stocky, 6-year-old Quarter Horse gelding - We are looking for a new home for our beautiful, fearless, golden-colored Quarter Horse gelding. Goldi is 6 years young, stands about 147 cm tall, and is barefoot. He’s the compact type. Goldi is still untrained—he hasn’t been ridden yet—but he’s now fully grown. He’s gotten used to the Western saddle and the bridle, and to having someone lean over his back; he’s very well-behaved during these activities. Loading is his strong suit—whether getting in or out, it’s no problem. He still needs more practice with giving his hooves, but he doesn’t kick. When out for a walk in the woods, he’s completely fearless; he doesn’t need a buddy along, and it takes a lot to rattle him. In general, Goldi is interested in everything, and he’s a quick learner. Sometimes he can seem a bit stubborn, but he’s actually very sensitive and doesn’t respond well to a harsh or overly demanding hand. Here with us, Goldi lives in an open stable with plenty of space to roam day and night. He can also be out in the pasture 24 hours a day and is fence-secure. In terms of hierarchy, Goldi avoids conflict but can defend himself if necessary; he doesn’t kick, he bites. Since he lives on a small farm with us, he’s familiar with various animals and machinery. Our handsome boy is at home in the beautiful southern Black Forest. The reason we’re giving him up is that our mare doesn’t like him at all—she goes after Goldi the moment she sees him. This upsets Goldi, and you can tell the poor fellow is bothered by it.
We look forward to friendly inquiries—but ones that go beyond just asking, “Is the horse still available?” or “How much does he cost?” We’re all human beings, and we should speak—or write—to one another openly and kindly. We’re happy to talk on the phone for a personal conversation. And for more pictures and videos, you can reach us via WhatsApp. +4915152335741 Warm regards.
