13-year-old leisure mare looking for a new home - Bella is a 13-year-old Polish Warmblood mare for whom we are, with a heavy heart, seeking a new home due to a tragic event in the family.
In November 2025, Bella was diagnosed with laminitis in her front hooves. The condition has since largely subsided. To continue managing it effectively, her feed is provided in portions using hay nets. In the paddock, she wears a slow feeder, which she handles very well. This helps keep the laminitis well under control.
So far, we’ve ridden Bella for leisure. Her previous owner also did some dressage with her. Bella is a kind-hearted horse who quickly bonds with her people and enjoys working together with them. Once she’s taken someone into her heart, she becomes especially affectionate and enjoys being close to her caregivers.
Bella is also easygoing around children and loves being pampered by them.
We’re looking for a loving, family-oriented home for Bella, where she’ll receive the attention, time, and care she deserves. It’s especially important to us that she ends up in good hands and that her new owners enjoy building a close bond with her.
To us, Bella isn’t just a horse—she’s a very special member of our family. That’s why we’re looking for people who will appreciate her just as much and give her a wonderful new home.
