Beauty is a beautiful and sweet mare. She’s used to dogs and children. Beauty is very popular with my kids and others. :)
Tractors and farm trucks also drive by the paddock from time to time. So she’s already gotten a little used to them. (Of course, she still needs plenty of practice—she’s still a foal, after all.)
She’s comfortable being tied up, led, groomed, having her mane sprayed, and having her hooves checked. I showered/washed her for the first time a few days ago, and she was really well-behaved. (No bucking, kicking, or anything like that.) She didn’t cause any trouble during her deworming treatment either.
The horse walker is no problem either. She goes along with it nicely. You can muck out the stall and walk around the back without any problems while she’s there. You don’t need to pay any attention to her. She really doesn’t care. She doesn’t react at all.
We’re already practicing lunging, too. (With a knot halter) She’s well-behaved and easy to handle during this.
We’re also already practicing putting a blanket on her.
Beauty is very eager to learn, clear-headed, and always tries her best to please her owner. Of course, she’s already familiar with the farrier.
