14 year old all-rounder - approx. 1.56 - Kody is a very special gelding who will be 14 years old in September. With his height of approx. 1.55 m, he is handy and pleasant to ride. In his passport he is registered as a Belgian Warmblood, but I suspect that this breed is not represented or only to a small extent - he is a beautiful mix with a lot of charisma.
Kody is an absolute treasure to handle: Whether it's ground work, free work, work in hand or cross-country riding - he always participates with motivation, is attentive, respectful and always wants to learn something new. He is absolutely reliable in the field, both alone and in a group, and is also experienced in trail riding.
In dressage, Kody tries very hard to do everything right. However, he needs a sensitive and consistent rider to give him security. He loves jumping more than anything: he really gets into it and really enjoys it! We have also regularly taken him over small jumps in the field - perfect for starting out in jumping.
Kody loves children: I have occasionally put my little sisters on him. For long-term work, however, he should be in more experienced hands so that he can develop his full potential.
Husbandry & health: Kody currently lives in an open stable in a mixed herd and feels very comfortable there. In his previous home, he was kept in boxes with a large paddock and his own paddock - so he is flexible and easy to move around. He is in good health and is easy to handle. His teeth were done last year, he has been vaccinated for competitions and received a disease test two months ago. There are no diseases or findings, and a purchase examination (AKU) can of course be carried out.
I am only selling Kody because unfortunately I can no longer do him justice in terms of his health. It is very important to me that he finds a loving new home where he will be supported and continue to give as much pleasure as he has given me over the years.
