The Mantegna is identical in construction to the Raffaello, with the difference that it has latex panels instead of wool panels, and that it is slanted in the rear pommel, thus offering a little more space in the saddle.

In contrast to the 1st generation MAG system, this 2nd generation requires a larger 6 mm Allen key instead of the previous 4 mm.

Narrow waisted, mega comfortable, in no way inferior to my previous Hennig dressage saddle with soft seat. Very short, the actual contact surface and length are only approx. 42 cm. The pads are nice and soft and very even.

Due to the deep seat, the saddle is somewhat smaller, as is typical for Acavall, and is more like a generous 17 inch.

The original protective fleece cover is of course included in the offer.

The Acavallo® Mantegna dressage saddle is a variant of the popular Acavallo Raffaello dressage saddle. It has a sloping rear flap. This more open seat area offers the rider more freedom of movement in the saddle.

The nylon saddle tree with carbon insert was specially developed to meet the requirements of dressage riders. It is elastic and therefore follows the horse's movements perfectly. It has a slim cut for close contact between the rider's leg and the horse. The seat is ergonomic and allows a deep seat. Thanks to the revolutionary Mag mechanism, the steel gullet plate can be perfectly adjusted with millimeter precision using the Mag key and can be adapted to the horse's back in just a few simple steps.

The mono saddle flaps have long, attached knee rolls that ensure good support and optimum leg position.

The leather used is doubled Italian premium calfskin.

The saddle panels are specially designed to optimally absorb shocks and distribute the rider's weight perfectly on the horse's back. They are filled with layers of latex and felt and covered with leather and can withstand the demands of compression and decompression over the long term without the need for re-padding. The materials used are natural and hypoallergenic.
