|There are horses that you ride - and there are horses that you go through life with. My Hucul gelding belongs to the second type.
He is an honest, nature-loving horse who finds his happiness in the countryside. Trotting across meadows together, roaming through forests, breathing deeply on the long reins - that's his world. If he trusts his rider, he can also be ridden confidently on his own, attentive, reliable and responsive to voice commands.
He can be ridden both with a snaffle and bitless, but feels much more comfortable with the hackamore and works more finely with it. He is healthy, clear-headed and loves variety: small jumps, ground work, new tasks - he enjoys all of these. He just doesn't want to do laps in the arena - that's just not "his thing".
I would like someone for him who appreciates exactly that: a leisure partner who enjoys going for rides together. He can also be ridden by beginners in the riding arena, but is not just a children's horse. The only thing he needs is a confident rider on his own in the field, then he is an absolutely reliable companion. He is totally fearless and well-behaved when ridden in pairs. Perfect for older children, light adults and beginners.
As I currently don't have the time to ride out together and I'm moving in a different direction as a rider, I'm looking for a place for him where he can do what he loves most: roaming the countryside with his human.
