11-year-old Arabian mare "Rim", approx. 146 cm height. She is calm and people-oriented. She is low ranking in the herd and very friendly with other horses.
*Training & use:* Rim was gently and slowly broken in by me at the age of 8 and has been under saddle for about three years. She is currently not being actively worked and enjoys her life in a loving herd, which is why a trial is not possible at the moment and can therefore only be worked and familiarized with from the ground. She is familiar with basic ground work in the form of confidence-building exercises and circling and is enthusiastic about it. She still needs targeted encouragement in the riding arena. She is experienced in the field - both alone and in a group. However, she needs a lot of confidence, time and patience from her handler when riding alone in unfamiliar terrain. An experienced caregiver can also give her the necessary confidence in situations or environments that are unfamiliar to her. Although Rim is not a classic sport horse for collecting ribbons, she is certainly suitable for riding pass and pin after an appropriate build-up phase. Ambitious leisure riders who are interested in working equitation would also have a lot of fun with her Not a beginner's horse, experience with thoroughbreds is an advantage, but not a must.
*Health*: Rim has sweet itch, the form and severity of which can be controlled with a blanket and standard care products. Vaccinations and worming are carried out routinely. An equine passport is available. She also has transferable surgery insurance.
*Other*: She is cooperative and calm when being loaded and when dealing with the farrier. There are no known behavioral problems. During veterinary treatment she sometimes shows the defensive reactions typical of horses.
I am looking for someone who can offer Rim a loving home and give her the time and patience she needs at the beginning. Once you are in her heart, you won't get rid of her so quickly & she will go through fire for you 🔥
