To prevent the MHB from slipping off the horse's leg, an adjustable strap runs high over the horse's neck. This is fitted with adjustable buckles to allow the position strap to be individually adjusted. The lower part of the MHB consists of a hoof shoe, which is anatomically shaped to the hoof. Thus it adapts optimally to the hoof and is doubly protected by a reinforced sole. This is important when treating horses with horseshoes.

In addition, the MHB is made of a very tear-resistant, waterproof and breathable material. From the inside, the MHP is lined with another acid-resistant and rubber-coated stocking. This material is equally suitable for cold and heat. Filling the MHB with ice cube water after training or for leg therapy is no problem at all. The integrated Velcro straps provide a secure hold on every part of the horse's leg and are form-fitting.
