Chic German riding pony pinto mare for sale in the best hands - Good day, Unfortunately we have to part with our German Riding Pony mare Flicka for personal reasons.
She is 13 years young and has a height of approx. 1.42 cm. She has a slim and athletic build, as you can see from the pictures.
She is a lovely mare with character. She is very people-oriented and well-behaved, but like many mares she shows typical characteristics and occasionally tests boundaries. We would therefore like her to have a caregiver with patience and consistency - "A person with experience is desirable."
Due to an incident of laminitis, she unfortunately had a rotated coffin bone last year. For this reason, she has not been ridden recently but has been kept moving by lunging. She hasn't had any other pre-existing conditions since we've owned her. Before that she didn't have any illnesses, or none at all! For about a week now, we have been putting her out in the paddock again - she accepts the feed brake well.
