All-round family horse seeks best place - It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our Marty. Marty has been with us since he was just under a year old. He was born in the Netherlands, where he was born and socialized in a large natural herd. He then came to us. He lives next to the house in an open stable with a paddock in the summer on a pasture with trees in a herd. He is also familiar with stabling (from very cold winter periods, his training period, vacations). Marty was gently broken in at the age of 5. He was broken in professionally and gently by Ralf Seedorf - Roofman Ranch over six months.
We mainly rode him out. Forest, heath, ice cream parlor ... My daughter took part in a few rodeos (just for fun). He went camping and on vacation with us several times.
Marty is a dream horse. He was always funny, friendly and sweet, well-behaved at the farrier and when loading, fence-safe (even on the road in the paddock with little electricity), did costume rides, lots of rodeo events, riding games and other nonsense with and without a saddle). Thanks to his calm nature, he gave me confidence, taught my husband how to ride as a beginner and made my daughter very happy with his willingness to work
For the last three years, he has only been ridden sporadically due to my daughter's studies, so we have now decided to sell him after giving up our other horse ownership.
He has rarely been ill over the years. We had trouble with a cough due to poor hay quality and watery stools due to poor silage, and one year we suspected a pollen allergy and once a hoof ulcer after a gravel weekend.
Colic, unknown lameness, laminitis or eczema etc. are unknown to Marty. He hasn't seen a vet for about the last three years.
We are looking for a permanent, beautiful home for this horse of the heart. Marty is being sold with several pads, western saddle, bareback pad and snaffle.
(Purchase inspection possible on behalf of and at the expense of interested parties at the farm. Test riding of course possible - reimbursement of costs). The horse is being sold because we are no longer keeping horses.
