5 year old Haflinger gelding for sale - Steirerbua "Burli" is looking for a new favorite human. Burli is 5 years old (02.03.2018) and basically very well-behaved in handling. However, he is not suitable for beginners as he is very rank and tests every time anew. He needs a consistent human, then he makes very well-behaved all exercises with and is very committed.
He is solidly ridden in all 3 gaits, both in the arena and in the field, but his level of training is still rather low and he would like to be encouraged. A lot of ground work was done with him, which he also masters really well. Furthermore, a lot of anit fright training and circus lessons were worked with him. He also walks well on the long reins (in winter I rode with him on a normal sled/bob at the riding arena). Burli is of course healthy and the farrier as well as the hanger are no problem for him. He is barefoot without problems and has been regularly vaccinated, dewormed and tooth treated.
He will not be sold to a schooling facility or to dealers!!!
He is really a great horse and I have grown very fond of him and I wish for him a new person who has a lot of time to promote him and who also enjoys varied and consistent training. Also his new home must be accordingly gestalltet, currently he stands at night in the box with large paddock and during the day he is on the pasture, pure box attitude is nothing for him. I could imagine him very well in an open stable.
